The Columbia University’s Italian Academy has issued a notice of allowing grants for its Weinberg Fellowships in the Architectural History and Preservation for the 2018-2019 scholastic year. Colleagues from around the globe are qualified to apply for this program.
The choice of Weinberg Fellows will be founded on the nature of the applications. Applicants must be at the post-doctoral or personnel level.
Supporting propelled investigate over the controls through a Fellowship Program with 20 private researchers every year, and open meetings advancing scholastic, social, and logical trade. The Italian Academy was made in 1991 on the premise of a contract marked by the President of the Republic of Italy and the President of Columbia University.
Grant Description
- Course Level: Fellowships will be interested in cutting edge researchers from the postdoctoral to the full scholarly level.
- Concentrate Subject: Fellowships are granted in the Architectural History and Preservation.
- Grant Award: An) a gross compensation extending from $4,500 to $7,000/month (you may pay impose on this; you should counsel your bookkeeper for exhortation); B) a travel stipend to cover the airfare to and from New York; C) a part of medical coverage costs.
- Nationality: Fellows from around the world are eligible to apply for this programme.
- Number of Scholarships: Two to four Fellowships will be awarded each year.

Entrance Requirements: Normally Fellowships will be open to advanced scholars from the postdoctoral to the full professorial level. (Candidates should expect to have their doctorates in hand no later than the summer after they apply.) Fellows will be expected to be in residence for one or two academic semesters.
English Language Requirements: Applicants whose first language is not English are usually required to provide evidence of proficiency in English at the higher level required by the University.
